1985 Tournament Results – Blue Jays beat Red Sox in 6

The Red Sox was a tough 15 seed to be sure and they showed it as they took the first 2 games in Toronto. The Blue Jays would bounce back in a big way, finding their bats taking all 3 games in Boston and then winning Game 6 to move to the Elite 8. Garth Iorg would hit 4 homers to spark the offense and Dave Stieb and Doyle Alexander would pitch better the second time they faced the Sox. Toronto now moves onto to face #10 seed Montreal in a battle to move to the Final Four.

Game 2: Red Sox 5, Blue Jays 1

Game 3: Blue Jays 8, Red Sox 2

Game 4: Blue Jays 10, Red Sox 8

Game 5: Blue Jays 9, Red Sox 2

Game 6: Blue Jays 5, Red Sox 3
