Big time matchup here in the semi-finals as the Mets square off against the Blue Jays. Game 1 from Toronto features a pitching matchup of Cy Young winner Dwight Gooden (24-4 1.53 Grade 25XYZG) versus Jim Clancy (9-6 3.78 Grade 5ZG).

The Mets come right out of the gate and get 2 runs in the first as Gary Carter would go yard off Clancy to score 2. In the 4th they would add another run as Lenny Dykstra would hit a sac fly scoring Ray Knight. In the 5th they would get more insurance as Darryl Strawberry would single home a run to make it 4-0.
