Game 2 has Twins starter Roger Erickson (14-13 3.96 Grade 8) on the mound opposite strike out King Nolan Ryan (10-13 3.72). The Angels get on the board first with an 2 out RBI by Joe Rudi in the 1st. The Twins would quickly even the score with a run of their own in the second courtesy of a RBI double by Jose Morales. The Angels would get 2 runs in the 3rd and single runs in the 4th and 5th to take a 5-1 lead. That would be all Ryan would need as he goes the distance giving up only the one run on 6 hits while striking out 6. The Angels now lead the series 2-0 as we head back to Metropolitan Stadium.
