Game 3 – 1978 Tournament Replay Brewers vs Tigers

Pivotal Game 3, with the series tied at 1, has Jerry Augustine (13-12 4.54 Grade 4) for the Brewers vs Dave Rozema (9-12 3.14 Grade 12) for the Tigers.

The Brewers would get a quick lead as Paul Molitor would send the first pitch of the game over the left field wall for a 1-0 lead. They would come right back and get 5 more off Rozema, Don Money with a 3 run shot to center.

With the Brewers up 6-0, the Tigers would come roaring back with a huge 5 run inning in the 5th. Aurelio Rodriguez with a big homer to get the Tigers back in the game. With the game 6-5 the Brewers would turn to their bullpen. Bob McClure and Bill Castro get the last 12 outs and Milwaukee take back control of the series.
