
Game 4 – 1985 Tournament Replay Cardinals at White Sox
The White Sox with their backs against the wall down 3-0 send Gene Nelson (10-10 4.26 Grade 4YL) to the bump, while the Cardinals send stud lefty ace John Tudor (21-8 1.93 Grade 20YZG). Pitchers come out strong as the game stays scoreless through 4 innings. The Cardinals once again break the ice scoring 3 runs in the 5th as Willie McGee doubles in 2 runs and Tommy Herr singles home McGee. The White Sox would answer back with 2 of their own in the bottom half as Luis Salazar doubles home a run and Rudy Law singled home Salazar.
