The Dodgers come out strong winning the first 3 games of the series. The Astors showed no quit in winning games 4 and 5. Bob Welch would pitch a gem in Game 6 to get the Dodgers over the hump and into the Final Four. The Dodgers got just enough hitting to go along with their usual stellar pitching. The Dodgers move onto to face the #1 seed Cardinals in the Final Four in what will be a rematch of the 85 NLCS.
