Huge Game 3 for the Expos as they send Bill Gullickson (14-12 3.52 Grade 8ZG) to the mound against Dave Stieb (14-13 2.48 Grade 16Y).
The Expos would get out on top in the 2nd as Tim Wallach would line a homer to right center off Stieb. The Jays would answer big in 3rd with a 4 spot. RBI by Damaso Garcia followed by a 3 run homer by Garth Iorg leads the way. In the 5th they would add another run in the 5th as Iorg again would drive in a run.
With the score 5-1 the Expos would get a couple runs in the bottom of the 8th. Hubie Brooks and Terry Francona with big RBI hits. In the bottom of the 9th the Expos would rally again. Vance Law would single to left to drive in 2 runs to tie the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Andre Dawson would single to center to give the Expos a crazy come from behind win.
