Astros looking to win 3 in a row and win the World Series send Ken Forsch (12-13 3.20 Grade 13Z) to the hill against Larry Gura (18-10 2.95 Grade 15Z) for the Royals.   The story of this playoff has been the Astros bats and this game was another example as the Astros come out strong getting 3 quick runs off Gura. The Royals look to bounce back after getting drubbed in Game 3 send Dennis Leonard (20-11 3.79 Grade 11YZ) to the mound opposite Vern Ruhle (12-4 2.37 Grade 14Z).   The Astros continue to hit the ball hard jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first as Jose Cruz and Denny Walling drive in runs. In the 3rd they would add another run to that lead as Walling again would single in a run. Series tied 1-1, huge Game 3 has starters Joe Niekro (20-12 3.55 Grade 13Z) for the Astros vs Rich Gale (13-9 3.92 Grade 6) for the Royals.   Starters come out in control as we are scoreless through 3 innings. In the 4th the Astros would break through with a run as Art Howe hits a sac fly to center scoring Cesar Cedano. In the 5th the Astros would bust the game wide open scoring 6 runs, knocking Gale out of the game and roughing up the Royals bullpen. In the 4th they would get 2 more off Ryan as unbelievably UL Washington would drive a 2 run homer down the line to right. Our playoff replay is a "what if" as the Astros beat the Phillies in the NLCS. The Royals send Dennis Leonard (20-11 3.79 Grade 11YZ) to the mound against Ken Forsch (12-13 3.20 Grade 13Z) for the Astros.   The Astros would get the scoring started in the 2nd with a huge inning as the would hit for the cycle in the inning. Cesar Cedano would homer (4th of the post-season!), Art Howe would triple in Denny Walling, and Alan Ashby would double in Walling.
